Reynolds said exactly that in a recent tweet, lauding Cold War Kids for "continually writing timeless music."

"That's so rad," Cold War Kids frontman Nathan Willett enthused about the tweet during an interview with KROQ DJ Nicole Alvarez backstage at this year's Almost Acoustic Christmas show at the L.A. Forum.

"We've got to put so much music out, and some of it's gone kind of under the radar. My philosophy and approach has been to just keep working, keep touring, keep putting music out. The thing that changed was like, OK, now everything we do, it needs to be great."
