In this month's special 'Musicians on Musicians' issue of Rolling Stone, the magazine pairs musicians together to discuss their careers, the music industry, and, more often than not, their mutual love for each other. The November 2019 issue includes talks between cover stars Lana Del Rey and Elton John, Ringo Starr and Dave Grohl, and even David Byrne and Tierra Whack

The issue also includes an interview between Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong and teen wunderkind Billie Eilish. In the interview, the pair discuss everything from achieving meteoric fame at a young age to the pressures of constant touring.

While the two relax in the backseat of Armstrong's car, a '63 Ford Falcon with the words 'Broken Guitars' emblazoned on the side, Armstrong gushes about the newer generations of artists getting to make music in a world that is "genre-fluid". Eilish echoes that sentiment, saying, "Right now, it's true, there's kind of no limit to what genre you can put yourself in."

They also talked about how Armstrong discovered Eilish for the first time on Instagram, and how it lead to Armstrong getting his own 'Billie' headband from Eilish's merch collection.
