Chicano Batman has released their fourth studio album Invisible People on ATO records. It’s another banger full of laid back psych soul tunes that capture the spirit of Los Angeles. Producer and multi-instrumentalist Leon Michels returned to produce this follow up to 2017s Freedom is Free with the addition of engineer/producer Shawn Everett.

Lead vocalist Bardo Martinez jumped on a zoom chat with Kat Corbett recently to discuss Invisible People, plus being a new dad, silver linings during quarantine, and growing up listening to KROQ. Watch their chat above.

The band made a recent appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’s #PlayAtHome series where they performed their new single “Color My Life.”
