Kevin searches far and wide to find some of the funniest and craziest stories about people who just aren’t thinking as clearly as they should be. They usually get in trouble for what they do and it makes headlines in the news. When that happens, we find the best of the best and bring you a little something we like to call, ‘People Are Dumb’.

A Nashville man who was allegedly caught shoving beef brisket and propane bottle into his pants was caught by police officers who were already in the store. John Allen Honaker was observed on security cameras, shoving items in his pants. During transport, officers report that Honaker tried kicking out the windows on the police vehicle, as well as spitting, and slammed his head against the plastic partition separating the seats. Honaker allegedly attempted to kick the officer in the head and midsection as well. Click here to read the entire story.

Authorities say a California man died shortly after competing in a taco eating contest in Fresno. A Sheriff spokesman said 41-year-old Dana Hutchings of Fresno died Tuesday night shortly after arriving at a hospital. They’re doing an autopsy to find out why, but it was right in the middle of a taco eating contest. The contest was held at Chukchansi Park in Downtown Fresno, the park is home to a minor league baseball team Fresno Grizzlies. The competition on Tuesday night allowed amateurs to qualify for Saturday’s World Taco Eating Championship, so he wasn’t even in the finals. An eyewitness said he wasn’t even chewing, he was swallowing tacos whole. Click here to read the entire story.

A suspect was getting away when he farted loudly and gave his position away to the police. The police3 were latterly actively searching for him. Law enforcement officers in Missouri caught a hidden man wanted for possession of a controlled substance. If you have a warrant out for your arrest, and cops are looking for you and you pass gas so loud that it gives up your hiding spot, you’re definitely having an S day.

A person accidentally texts Missouri police officer about getting high. A Winfield police officer got a text from an unknown guy asking a girl if she’d like to go out to a game later that evening informing her that it won’t cost her a thing and she’ll get a free hotdog and soda? In response to the invitation, the officer wrote, “I’d love to go to the game,  sadly I think you’ve got the wrong number. The person, however, insisted he had the right number, “I don’t have the wrong number, we went to the game together with Shari & Diana. We got high together girl.” The officer sent a selfie in his uniform showing his badge. The guy wrote back "wrong number."

We wish all of these stories had a follow up like this one. This is five years later after it happened. An Australian duo who robbed a bank in Vail, Co. Now out of jail and telling their side of the story along with the criminals, the teller, and two officers investigated the case. They were dubbed Australia’s Dumb & Dumber Bandits. After serving nearly four years in a jail, Anthony Prince returned to New South Wales North coast after what was called the most inept bank heist of all time.
