Today on Kevin & Bean we have GREAT NEWS stories for you. We find news stories that make you feel good and restore your faith in humanity to balance out all the bad news you hear on the news.

This morning Allie told us about a Finn, a golden retriever and a very good boy who has died of terminal cancer. We’re not sure if she knows how this great news segment works… Finn was diagnosed in May of last year and since then his owners, Cynthia, and Robert Peterson created a bucket list for Finn to help him enjoy his final days. The bucket list included 50 things to check off. They completed 49 out of the 50 items on the list before Finn died in November of last year. The last thing on the list was to write a children’s book about Finn’s bucket list adventures to honor his legacy and open a conversation to teach kids about pet loss and grief. They have started a GoFundMe to help make Finn’s Bucket List book. R.I.P. Finn. This was Allie’s GREAT NEWS!!! Click here to read the entire story.

Jensen told us about an Atlanta teenager Joshua Carraway who went viral during his spring break vacation to Florida by picking up trash left behind by spring break partiers. Carraway was partying at the beach when he noticed a lot of trash all over the place, so he decided to do something about it. He started picking up trash and filled 3 big trash bags in one day, that’s when a Miami Beach police officer saw him, thanked him and then posted his good deed on social media. So now they have organized spring break beach cleanings and people have shown up in droves to help clean up the beaches. This was Jensen’s GREAT NEWS!!! Click here to read the entire story.

Today Bean told us about 71-year-old grandmother, Plaxedes Dilon from Zimbabwe. In March Zimbabwe was hit by Cyclone Idai and it left much of the country underwater. When Dilon heard about the Cyclone she donated clothing that she sells, as aid to people who were left with nothing. Dilon also helped with the evacuation of people to higher ground. She did so much great work that it caught the attention of the richest man in Zimbabwe, billionaire Strive Masiyiwa. Masiyiwa now wants to meet her and build her a house anywhere she wants in the country and give her $1,000 monthly allowance for the rest of her life. She is out there doing everything she can do her fellow countrymen, many who have lost everything. This was Bean’s GREAT NEWS!!! Click here to read the entire story.
