On Sunday September 8, all Entercom radio stations across the country will mark the start of National Suicide Prevention Week with a special commercial-free broadcast of I’m Listening, a two-hour program dedicated to ending the stigma of talking about mental health.

At 7 AM local time on your favorite RADIO.COM station, you can call-in live and join artists, athletes, and medical professionals for an in-depth conversation about mental health and suicide prevention.

The host of the national broadcast BJ Shea joined the Kevin & Bean show this morning to discuss the upcoming broadcast, mental health awareness, and National Suicide Prevention week.

Entercom Los Angeles stations will also be airing a special edition of Openline from 6am-7am, hosted by Tami Heide, with special guests Dr. Kita Curry from the Didi Hirsch Mental Health Center, Assemblymember Wendy Carrillo, and a representative of the National Alliance of Mental Illness. After the national program has concluded at 9am, stick around for an important discussion with host Yesi Ortiz who will be accompanied by relationship expert Dr. Chris Donaghue, licensed psychologist Dr. Milo Dodson, and Bamby Salcedo, a transgender Latina advocating for LGBTQ rights. Listeners are encouraged to call in Sunday morning and share their stories to (833) 7-LISTEN.
