Bishop Briggs has come a long way.

The breakout singer, who rocked the main stage at the 2018 Weenie Roast, reminisced about the first time she performed at the annual KROQ festival.

“KROQ Weenie Roast was the first festival I ever played,” Briggs shared with Kevin and Allie Mackay of The Kevin and Bean Show during an interview at this year’s show, recalling her set on the Weenie Roast side-stage in 2016.

“I only had three songs out. So it would take someone a little bit crazy, but someone to believe in me. I really appreciate it. So to be back here, two years later, on the main stage...I think that’s why I didn’t sleep (last night).”

Briggs is currently zig-zagging across North America on tour in support of her most recent album, Church of Scars.
