Decked out in a puffy coat, long skirt, and Converse high-tops, Matt Healy led The 1975 in a performance of their new song "Frail State of Mind" on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

Throughout the song, a myriad of colorful projections lit up the band and stage, with the song culminating in a gorgeous light show on the ceiling of the Ed Sullivan Theater. "Frail State of Mind" is one of the newest singles off the upcoming album Notes on a Conditional Form, set to be released in February 2020.

The band has released two other singles from the album so far: a self-titled track released in July and the punk-infused song "People" released in August.

While the album won't be out until early next year, The 1975 will be performing at Night Two of the KROQ Absolut Almost Acoustic Christmas. Tickets for Night Two are sold out, but you can still win your way in by listening to KROQ
