Are you ready to party?

I don’t think you heard me: ARE YOU READY TO PARTY?!

That’s right, party people. The time has come to celebrate another year rocking around the sun and surviving everything this crazy world has thrown at us over the past 12 months. Baby, we made it!

So now it’s time to celebrate. We’ve rounded up two nights packed full of our favorite rock and roll bands and professional party people to bring you the 2018 KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas.

Partying on this level is no joke. This is serious business, son. As such, we need everyone at peak mental and physical capacity for the entire weekend. None of this tapping out on Sunday afternoon because you went too hard on Saturday night. You’re just disrespecting yourself and your people if you go out like that. So don’t.
Instead, do the right things. Stretch. Stay hydrated. And for all that is holy and good, eat some food! The good kind—proteins, we’re looking at you—and yes, even some of the bad kind. Bad sugar! Bad caffeine! Bad carbohydrates! But we love you all and will be indulging because ‘tis the season, OK? No back off with your judgements or Santa will leave you a lump of coal in your shoe.

Here are five KROQ-approved ways to properly get your pregame on before the big event. Take heed.

Hollywood Park Casino

  • 3883 W Century Blvd, Inglewood, CA 90303
  • Distance to the Forum: 1.3 miles
  • The breakdown: It’s the holiday season. Maybe you have a few extra shekels in your pocket. You’re a gambling man. You could use a little more scratch for that lost weekend in Cabo you’ve got planned for January. Get an early start on your partying with some serious pregaming at the Hollywood Park Casino. Win some money, warm up with cheap drinks and get ready to rock before calling a car service to ferry your tipsy behind over to the Forum. Party responsibly!

Century Bar & Grill

  • Distance to the Forum: 1.2 miles
  • 3883 West Century Blvd, Inglewood, CA 90303
  • The Breakdown: You’re down with those casino vibes, but you’re not trying to play with your money. Because who does that? Post up at the CB&G, toss a few back and grub it up on favorite bar chow. No big. Nice and easy like. You got this.

Three Weavers Brewing

  • 1031 W. Manchester Blvd., Unit A-B Inglewood, CA, 90301
  • Distance to the Forum: 2.4 miles
  • The Breakdown: Got the time and inclination to really kick it before the party? Maybe you scored a hot date with that pair of prime AAC tickets you dangling in front of them. And maybe you just really, really like the beer. Clean yourself up and hop over to the Tres Ws for a chill good time. Their list of beers is on point, and regularly updated with the latest and greatest in the world of premium suds. They just dropped their very own brand new house brand IPA. They’re cool, OK? Sample a few different brews and a car service will bring you to the rock and roll holiday party when you’re ready for that life.

Market Street Bar & Grill

  • 244 S Market St, Inglewood, CA 90301
  • Distance to the Forum: 1 mile
  • The Breakdown: Only for the hardcore. Don’t come rolling up in here unless you’re down to kick it with the locals who know what’s up. But if you’re chill and ready to eat some good food and sip on strong dranks for a nice price, get it in right here. No foolishness! Good vibes only.

  • 831 E Manchester Blvd, Inglewood, CA 90301
  • Distance to the Forum: .03 mile
  • The Breakdown: You’re not here to schmooze. You’re not here to see or be seen or network or hand out any damn business cards. You, my friend, are here to rock. And we salute you. For those that are ready to do some top-level stage-diving and crowd-surfing, you’re going to need plenty of down and dirty calories and proteins to make it happen. Which is where the almighty Sizzler comes into play. Situated right across the street from the Forum, this classic steak trough has got what you really need: meat, potatoes, a salad bar packed with plenty of good stuff next to the rabbit food and, yes, even the elixir of life: beer. Don’t go bad-mouthing the Sizzler, pal. The Sizzler gets it done.

The Forum Concourse

  • Opening at 3pm, The Forum and Levy Restaurants have partnered to bring exciting food offerings that, in addition to Levy’s classic venue fare, include some of SoCal’s most celebrated local food and beverage brands. This ensures that every music fan is able to enjoy their favorite hometown food options, including some unique twists on popular dishes. Local brands making their star turn at the legendary Inglewood venue include: Boo’s Philly Cheesesteaks, Pink’s Hot Dogs, Casamigos Tequila, Carney’s, Coolhaus, Loteria! Grill and Orleans & York.
