Blink-182 Talk 'Enema of the State' 20th Anniversary and Reveal Secret Show

June 11, 2019

Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker, two-thirds of Blink-182, stopped by The Kevin & Bean Show this morning to talk about their upcoming tour with Lil Wayne, the 20th anniversary of their album Enema of the State, and revealed details on a secret show going down Thursday, June 20th!

Blink-182 is scheduled to hit the road this summer with rapper Lil Wayne and Welsh pop-punk band Neck Deep, but they'll also be celebrating the 20th anniversary of their beloved album Enema of the State, which featured singles like "All The Small Things," "Adam's Song," and  "What's My Age Again?"

"It was the 20th anniversary of Enema of the State and we had this idea to play it in its entirety at Back To The Beach Fest, and we enjoyed it so much that we were like 'We should just do that this summer' as well as adding in songs from the new record that's going to be coming out later this summer, and playing the old hits as they call 'em. It just felt like a nice segue into 2019 summer," says Hoppus.

Mark and Travis also had a surprise announcement for KROQ listeners.

"This is something for the fans, something for the KROQ listeners," says Hoppus. "We are throwing a secret show before we embark on this summer-long tour, and we're going to invite some of your lovely listeners to come and join us. This is what they call basically a 'friends and family show,' so if you win these tickets you are automatically a friend and/or family of Blink-182."

While we can't announce the venue, we CAN say that the show will be taking place on Thursday, June 20th. There will be no on sale for this show, the only way in is to win tickets from KROQ. Keep listening for your shot to win or enter to win access HERE.
