BOARD OPERATOR

POSITION: PART TIME BOARD OPERATOR

REPORTS TO: OPERATIONS MANAGER

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years board-operating experience at a major or mid market station.  Must be a self-starter with proficient production skills for both pre-recorded and live broadcasts. Experience with AudioVault and knowledge of FCC law required. Must be dependable, ready to work at a moments notice and have a flexible schedule for holiday, overnight and weekend shifts. Excellent communication skills along with a positive and upbeat personality absolutely required.

STAFF ACCOUNTANT
POSITION:  STAFF ACCOUNTANT
AVAILABILITY: IMMEDIATE

QUALIFICATIONS:
CBS Radio – LA has an immediate opening for a Staff Accountant.  A 4-year degree and 2 years accounting experience is required.  Media experience is desired.  Expertise in Excel a must.  Oracle knowledge is a plus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & REPSONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
• Oversee/Perform daily accounting functions…A/R, A/P, Cash, Trade/Barter.
• Month end close including JE’s and GL analysis/reconciliation.
• Assist in implementation and enforcement of financial controls.
• Special assignments include managerial reports, corporate projects and assistance with financial planning.
• Assist Station Controller as assigned.
• Accountant will be involved in all aspects of the accounting department including internal audit and Sarbanes-Oxley testing.
• Work with and support sales department and customers as required.

POSITION:  PROMOTIONS ASSISTANT
AVAILABILITY: IMMEDIATE

DESCRIPTION:

• Entry level position at $10/hr
• 20-30 hours per week
• Light to heavy lifting at times
• Execution of promotional events
• Office Duties

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Must have a perfect driving record (DMV printout will be required)
• Must be able to work days, nights, weekends & holidays
• Must have a good attitude and be able to work under pressure
• Must have knowledge of KROQ, KROQ on-air Joq’s & KROQ music
• Online media experience a plus (Blogging, tweeting, Facebooking)
