The recovery effort in Haiti has got a major boost from several artists across the globe, but it seems a few indie artists are far from satisfied.
Beck, Vampire Weekend, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Julian Casablancas, and others have compiled an album where all the proceeds go directly to Oxfam America, who’s doing their part in the devastating aftermath.

In a time where less and less thought seems to be going into music videos, Vampire Weekend seem to be doing the exact opposite. The originality and simplicity of ‘A-Punk‘ was beyond refreshing to see when that video first came out. And now that I’ve seen the video for ‘Cousins’, I’m struggling to figure out which is more visually stimulating (or stimulating in other ways).
