Apparently they do!  In Spain at least.  The Columbia University alums were invited to play at a very lucky girl’s birthday fiesta after one of their shows, and wouldn’t you know, the boys obliged.

The recovery effort in Haiti has got a major boost from several artists across the globe, but it seems a few indie artists are far from satisfied.

Beck, Vampire Weekend, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Julian Casablancas, and others have compiled an album where all the proceeds go directly to Oxfam America, who’s doing their part in the devastating aftermath.

The dirty little secret about my business is that deejays don’t get to play a lot of the music we want to play on the radio. We all love KROQ but Kat (call me!), Nicole (call me!), Doug (don’t ever call me!) and I also love to share other great artists with you that haven’t made the air yet.

In a time where less and less thought seems to be going into music videos, Vampire Weekend seem to be doing the exact opposite. The originality and simplicity of ‘A-Punk‘ was beyond refreshing to see when that video first came out.  And now that I’ve seen the video for ‘Cousins’, I’m struggling to figure out which is more visually stimulating (or stimulating in other ways).

Watch both videos by clicking more and let us know which one you think is better. Either way, at least you know you’ll get plenty of preppy sweaters and polo shirts.
