Last week Money was in studio and came up with a great bet between Kevin & me for the Clippers/Lakers game. Well, the Clippers lost and I had to go jump in Lake Arrowhead.

*NOTE: This was obviously a joke. I’ll be heading up Wednesday to take the pictures.

Kevin and Dave “The King of Mexico” have a long-standing rivalry when it comes to their respective NBA teams (Kevin is a Lakers fan, Dave of course loves the Clippers). Whenever the two teams face off, they always have some kind of a wager over who will win.

Of course, the last million years have been dominated by the Lakers, but this year proves to be more even when the Clippers are currently first in the Pacific Division.

Stumped on what to bet, they turned to our good friend Matt “Money” Smith, and the evil genius came up with a creative bet for tonight’s game.

If the Lakers lose tonight’s game, Kevin has to:

Take the Catalina Express out to Catalina Island, take a picture of himself in front of Mario’s in Avalon, and turn around and come back.

(Added bonus: Kevin said he got sick the last time he took this trip.)

Dress up like Captain Stubing from The Love Boat, and while doing the “Stubing Salute”, take a picture in front of the Long Beach Yacht Club.

Either way, the picture will be posted on this site.

If the Clippers lose tonight’s game, Dave has to:

Sneak into Lake Sherwood (where fancy people like Wayne Gretzky live) and take a picture while swimming in the lake.

Drive three hours out to Lake Arrowhead, and take a picture while swimming in the lake.

Like Kevin, Dave would also have to post his picture on this site.

When asked who he thought was going to win, Money had to side with the Clippers. Does Anyone know where to find a Captain Stubing costume?

Normally the Lakers fans are the ones that have something to look forward too.

But not this year. This is the year of the L.A. Clippers!

With Blake Griffin & DeAndre Jordan, the Clippers have been on the rise. But now with the trade for Point Guard Chris Paul, and the additions of Caron Butler & Chauncey Billups, they have arrived!

This is the year that it’s “Hip to Clip.” This is the year of “Lob City.”

Here at the Kevin & Bean show, we use various sound bites for comedy purposes. Sometimes, we totally play the hell out of said audio clips. Can you blame us though? Some of these things are just so awesome! Here’s what we think are the cream of the crop. (That’s not ~~brown rice~~ cream!)

#10: “It’s not my fault!”

Whenever “Producer Dave” was in charge of the show, things just don’t go as planned. Phone calls wouldn’t go through. Guests wouldn’t show up. For some reason though, Señor King of Mexico would never admit that it was his fault when things didn’t go as planned.

#9: “Open up a blog.”

Record Store Day came again this year. That’s the day where music lovers are encouraged to be uppity hipsters for the day and support independent record stores by purchasing limited edition vinyl releases. Well, we had an indie record store owner (who lacked personality and a sense of humor) irritatedly tell Kevin & Bean to open up a blog when they asked too many questions.

#8: “Noooooooo!”

George Lucas decided he needed to enhance the audio for the re-release of Star Wars, and made a few minor changes to the latest edition, namely the shouting of “Nooooooo!” This was sooooooo unnecessary yet amusing to play repeatedly!
