I picked the right night to drink a stranger’s breast milk.

You heard me!! I had a legend in my presence. Slash cruised into Loveline to talk about his solo record and the tour to support it. While he was there we world premiered the super cool acoustic version of  “Sweet Child O’ Mine” with Myles Kennedy on vocals.

As if that wasn’t cool enough, this broad named Hunter brought a good amount of her breast milk in for me to drink. I had put the word out that I wanted to try breast milk and she answered my demand.  As I chugged her booby nectar, Slash said to me, “man you’ve got a great job.”  That’s f#*king Slash talking.

The boys from Linkin Park are no strangers to KROQ or Loveline.  They have consistently been as accessible and friendly as any band out there, which is amazing considering their stature.

Loveline's new website.

I have to say that this website, WWW.KROQ.COM ,  has really blossomed into an awesome site.  Lightning and his crew really do a great job at giving you cool content in a pleasing and attractive way.

Sal Masekela is a very cool guy.  He is the host of the X-Games which means that this week is huge for him.  X-Games 16 kicks off on Thursday and Sal told us on Loveline that the rumors of what could happen this year are exciting and a bit frightening.

While Sal is tending to his duties on ESPN for the X-Games, your’s truly will be filling in for him on the E! network’s “The Daily 10.”  Good times all around right? more

Tyler controls Loveline’s interests on the internet and he does a great job.  Last night he threw out a challenge to a list of celebs to try and respond back to a tweet the quickest.  Russell Brand, Jimmy Fallon, Snoop, Conan O’Brien and others were all involved and Snoop destroyed the competition by responding back within a minute.  Not only did he respond back on twitter by saying, “groovy like a drive in movie,” but he immediately uploaded a personalized video to Dr. Drew on his site.

There’s a damn good chance you’ve heard of The Airborne Toxic Event. The reason that you’ve probably heard of them is because their debut album was heralded as one of the single best debut CDs ever by music magazines around the world.

But, what you may not have known is that the band organized and played a very special show with the LA Philharmonic. Needless to say, it was sold out. The band mates put more energy into this single concert than they did the entire fall tour production. It was a really really big deal. Fortunately for you and me, they filmed the entire concert, set-up to finale. And, with the help of Wheelhouse Creative, the footage was turned into an award-winning documentary titled All I Ever Wanted: The Airborne Toxic Event Live at the Walt Disney Concert Hall Featuring the Calder Quartet.  The film will be available on DVD and Blu-Ray September 7th.

The Ace Man came by Loveline last night and as you might expect he was hilarious. We didn’t get to many calls, which was as much my fault as it was Adam’s, but we still got a lot done.  Mr. Carolla explained to us the art of  “spunk shui” and detailed the downsides of making TV.

Warren the Ape stopped by Loveline last night.  It was the first time we had a puppet (or manufactured American as he calls it) on the show, and it worked out well.

Warren’s helmet precluded him from wearing the headphones properly, but so what.  He rips so hard. 10:30pm on Monday nights you can see Mr. Ape do his thing on MTV.

Lookie here.  Cypress Hill are consistently one of the most interesting and thought-provoking bands in all of hip hop.  They get passed off as stoner rappers and they’re so much more.  They stopped by Loveline and they were awesome as always.

I worship Marisa Miller. I correctly described her as the “Greatest Human Being Ever!”  If you were to remove the amount of water from a man’s body that Marisa has removed from me in other fluids, that man would die of dehydration forty times over. 

She came by Loveline and I was so pleased that she was sweet and personable too.
