Variety reports that NBC has ordered a pilot for a sitcom starring our very own Adam Carolla. The show, with the radio personality as a contractor picking up the pieces after his wife leaves him, is another run at a sitcom for Adam, whose pilot “Ace In The Hole” was not picked up by CBS after a pilot was shot last year.
Carolla, who hosted the morning drive show on CBS Radio’s FM talker KLSX-FM until early last year, has more recently become a star in the podcasting world. His other credits include “Dancing With the Stars,” TLC’s “The Adam Carolla Project” and voice work on “Crank Yankers” and “Drawn Together.”more
