It’s 311 day my friends and that means it is time to celebrate anything and everything 311 all day and all night long.

I was a very little girl when The Lost Boys came out and lucky for me, I had these renegade cousins that made me and my brother watch it for the first time. Since then, no movie has ever come close to having the impact that The Lost Boys had on me. That movie will forever be a part of me.
Anyone that knows me knows that I own at least 6 copies of it. My brother named his dog after Corey Haim’s dog in the movie. It was and will always remain the greatest vampire movie of all time. Edward and Bella can suck it! Vampires were waaaaaaaay cooler when Kiefer Sutherland led the charge.
Besides being, in my opinion, Corey Haim’s best movie, it also had one hell of a kick ass soundtrack. In honor of Corey Haim, I have chosen to play you…

I remember going to see Iron Man with my friends and catching a glimpse of Tom Morello in a cameo role. Huh? We all looked at each other and yelled out, “dude! was that Tom Morello??????” And yes, it was. Besides playing a terrorist, the bad ass guitarist also played a role in scoring the first film.
Today, Tom Morello took to his Twitter to suggest that he just may be scoring Iron Man 2. He wouldn’t divulge the specifics though.

While on a recent trip in Argentina, NOFX frontman Fat Mike got jiggidy jacked. And, according to him, it was the perfect mugging. The best part of the story is that the mugger took off with Fat Mike’s iPhone which is filled with certain pictures that have no business seeing the light of day. Balls.

Let’s say you’re feeling rebellious, pissed off, or even anarchistic, there’s an app for that! Seriously though, there are songs that compliment said state of mind.
Certain songs help you “release the beast.” I like to call them “songs with balls.” Balls, whether you’re male or female, everyone should have a pair… Metaphorically speaking.

Holy rock-n-roll sh*tballs! Look what AFI was kind enough to post on their Twitter!
Davey and his crew just performed at the Soundwave Festival in Perth and after their set, they stuck around for more.
Jane’s Addiction also played the festival and towards the end of their set, Perry Farrell was joined on stage by members of AFI and Faith No More for a wickedly delicious drum circle/performance.
I would have easily sacrificed my right breast to witness this in the flesh.

In a recent interview with People, Dave Grohl commented on the upcoming film about his former band Nirvana and stated he hopes his character is played by a member of the opposite sex. The Foo Fighters frontman said the best person for his part in the film would be actress Shelley Duvall.
“I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m crossing my fingers that Shelley Duvall plays me,” he said. “Shelley Duvall in The Shining, that is my face, you cannot get any closer than that.”
