AFI is on the verge of something. But what?

Today, the four piece posted a mysterious thirty second video showing several big drops of black liquid dripping down the screen set to some fairly ominous music. To compound fans’ curiosity, the band replaced all of their account images on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook with solid black.

It’s been almost exactly three years since AFI released Burials on October 22, 2013 so an album is definitely due.

In June, Jade Puget and Davey Havok spoke to Aggressive Tendencies and confirmed the band is indeed working on a new album, although Puget was quick to say he could and would not confirm a date.
