Kings of Leon – Walls

Three time Grammy Winners returned with the hit single “Waste a Moment,” which has been a scorcher so far, especially here on the World Famous KROQ.

This is the band’s seventh album, the follow up to 2013’s Mechanical Bull, which hit either 1 or 2 in the top 10 charts across the globe – following suit as the band’s fifth effort 2010’s Come Around Sundown did the same.

They’ve released five tour dates in the U.K. and have hinted at more…surely in LA right? Stay tuned because if they do, will have it to you first.

The band has also snuck out “Walls” as a pre-album single.

Moby & The Void Pacific Choir  These Systems Are Failing

Moby releases his thirteenth album, this time with his new project The Void Pacific Choir. A project he calls, “really loud and fast and shouty.”

It’ll be Moby’s second album this year following the February release of Long Ambients 1: Calm. Sleep, a four hour ambient album released through his restaurant’s website,  Little Pine,  located on Rowena Ave in Los Angeles.

Singles include “Almost Loved” “Don’t Leave Me” “Are You Lost in the World Like Me?” & “The Light Is Clear in My Eyes”

He’ll be at the Fonda, Oct 23rd for CIRCLE V: A MUSIC, ACTIVISM + FOOD EVENT along with Blaqk Audio.

Two Door Cinema Club –  Gameshow

The Irish indie pop rockers unleash album three behind the singles “Gameshow” “Bad Decisions” & “Are We Ready? (Wreck).”

The group blasted on the scene with their debut smash Tourist History which earned Irish Album of the Year and featured the single “I Can Talk” which saw mass radio and various media play.

This album sees them re-teaming up with producer Jacknife Lee who has worked with everyone from U2 to One Direction and everyone in between.

They swing through LA Wed Nov 30th at the Shrine with Broods.

The Naked & Famous – Simple Forms

The band, whose debut album took home about every major New Zealand Music Award possible back in 2011, hope to repeat that success with their third release.

“Laid Low” and “Higher” tee up the album.

They’ll stop by Amoeba Music Hollywood, Oct 18th for a live performance.

Two TonguesTwo Tongues Two

The supergroup comprised of Say Anything‘s Max Bemis & Saves the Day‘s Chris Conley rise again for the first time since their debut release back in 2009. This will be Bemis’ second album release this year, earlier Say Anything dropped I Don’t Think It Is, while Saves the Day haven’t released a new album since 2013 despite Conley teasing one earlier in the year.

The band has released singles “Azalea” “Scorpio” & “Truly” to serve as appetizers for the main course.

Still not enough Bemis? Check out this throwback to 2008 with his guest vocal work on Forgive Durden‘s “The Spider And The Lamps” part of their alternative rock musical, Razia’s Shadow: A Musical.

Their shows at the Troubadour and Observatory have been cancelled.

The Dillinger Escape Plan – Dissociation

The New Jersey metal twisting mathcore group release their final album to early critical acclaim ending a six album, 19 year career. Singles off the album include “Limerent Death” & “Symptom Of Terminal Illness”

Catch them at The Regent Sun Oct 30th.

Duotang – New Occupation

Following a 14 year hiatus, the Canadian indie rockers release album four behind the power of single “Karma Needs To Come Around.”

Red Fang  Only Ghosts

Hailing from Portland Oregon, the metal rock group, known also for their comedy, release album four. The band has appeared on stages with Godsmack, Disturbed, Megadeath, In Flames while also creating music videos with Fred Armisen and appearing on Metal Swim.

The Well – Pagan Science

The trio from SXSW home, Austin TX, are a brutal psychedelic rock band on the verge of explosion. Besides releasing their first full length, the band will also be releasing their own DIPA brew for what amounts to a beautiful weekend full of rocking, rolling and drinking.

Wanting more? Check out their previous single, “Mortal Bones.”

Wildlife – Age Of Everything

The Canadian group who identifies as “Weapon-Rock” releases album three behind the throwback track “2017.”

Tom Chaplin – The Wave

Keane‘s lead singer, Tom Chaplin, releases his first solo album.

Jagwar Ma – Every Now and Then

The psychedelic thumpers from Australia release album two, hoping to recapture the critical acclaim their debut, Howlin’, achieved.

Mono – Requiem for Hell

The experimental post-rockers from Tokyo, Japan kick out another album, number nine, in just a 15 year span. For this release they brought strings back into the fold to further push the boundaries of their sound.

Real Numbers – Wordless Wonder
