Nearly three weeks before the release of their sixth studio album Head Carrier, the Pixies have released a music video for the new track “Tenement Song.” The animated clip was inspired by frontman Black Francis’ lyrics as well as the album artwork of frequent Pixies collaborator Vaughan Oliver, reports Billboard.

The video was created by the Krank! Collective and follows a rat as he wanders through a tenement building full of colorful characters. The following scenes are viewed through the animal’s eyes: Men gambling their organs away, an older woman sitting at home watching television with her cats and a fancy dinner party.

“Tenement Song” is the third song Pixies have released from their forthcoming album; previously, the band dropped “Um Chagga Lagga” and “Talent.” Head Carrier, which comes out September 30, will be the first to feature bassist Paz Lenchantin as an official member.
