On Thursday (July 14), Coldplay’s Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow’s divorce was finalized. And, apparently a Los Angeles judge ordered that neither Paltrow nor Martin will have to pay spousal support, reported the BBC.
The former couple married in December of 2003 and have two children together. In March, 2014 they announced they were separating in a blog post on Paltrow’s website, Goop, calling their split a “conscious uncoupling.”
Last month, Paltrow spoke about the separation.
“It was such a difficult time in our lives… We didn’t know that the ‘conscious uncoupling’ phrase was going to inspire so much conversation,” she told the BBC. “Ultimately, it’s had a very positive impact… I’m very proud of it, I’m very proud of us. It’s a commitment that I make every day to my children, that I adore their father and that we’re a family, even though we’re not in a romantic relationship.”
