Blink-182 Performs Surprise Set at KROQ Weenie Roast

Blink-182 surprised KROQ Weenie Roast fans Saturday when they performed an unscheduled set between Panic! at the Disco and Empire of the Sun (right after sunset) at Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre.

The band recently debuted their new song “Bored To Death” on KROQ with Stryker, then premiered the track “Built This Pool” the following morning on The Kevin & Bean Show. Watch the interview hereThe current Blink-182 lineup consists of Mark Hoppus, Travis Barker, and Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba.

Their set was filled with hits and the live debut of 3 new songs, the 15-second “Built This Pool,” their current single “Bored To Death,” and “Brohemian Rhapsody.” During the final song “Dammit,” Mark Hoppus switches out some lyrics with a few lines from Kanye West’s song “Highlights” before confetti cannons exploded into the night sky.

The band will be returning to Irvine Meadows on their headlining tour with A Day To Remember and All Time Low September 29th and the Forum October 1st. Tickets for both shows go on sale Friday, May 20th at 10am.
