Record-Breaking Temperatures Hit Southern California

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — For the second day in a row, residents across Southern California can expect to feel record breaking temperatures, meteorologists said Tuesday.

According to the National Weather Service, highs in the forecast include 92 in San Gabriel, 91 in Burbank and Pasadena, 90 in Woodland Hills, 89 in downtown Los Angeles and Long Beach, and 86 at Los Angeles International Airport.

A wind advisory will remain in effect until 3 p.m. for the San Fernando and Santa Clarita valleys, the Santa Monica Mountains Recreational Area and other Los Angeles County mountains.
