Pregame.com’s RJ Bell Gives Us His Week 13 NFL Picks

Author: Chip

Missed it by thaaaaat much! Pregame.com’s RJ Bell was primed for a correct pick on Monday night, but then the Cleveland Browns did Cleveland Brown things. But hey,  it happens. And if you’re the Browns, it happens a lot.

RJ has made some crazy picks before…but this week, Kevin thinks that he might have gone insane.

Underdog Special: Cleveland Browns +10 vs. Cincinnati Bengals

This game is the first time since 1989 when the Bengals are favored on the road by more than 9 points. The Browns after last week seem like an odd choice, but the road team in Cincinnati games have only covered 16 of the last 46 games.

Best Bet: Oakland Raiders +3 vs. Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs are rolling, covering in five straight games by a long shot. The Raiders are much improved, and have been upgraded more than any other team besides the Panthers in RJ’s power rankings.

Big Game: New York Jets -2 vs. New York Giants

“J-E-T-S,” said RJ. The Giants aren’t bad, but their yardage differential is, with the 49ers being the only team worse. However they have a favorable turnover margin (+9). The Jets have been underrated, and are much healthier in the last few weeks. Home field advantage is not a factor in this game, since both teams use the same stadium.
