USA! USA! Our “Long National Nightmare” is over! After a painful 2 weeks of picks, Pregame.com’s RJ Bell bounced back this past weekend with a (2-1) record. That means only one thing: we are 100% in the clear, and we have the bad days behind us. We will have nothing but winners from here on out…maybe.
Underdog Special: Tennessee Titans +2 vs. Oakland Raiders
The Raiders are the favorite on the road for only the 4th time since 2005. Their record is decent, but their wins have come against horrible teams. RJ thinks the Titans are slightly better than we think.
Best Bet: Cleveland Browns -2.5 vs. Baltimore Ravens
Yes, you read that right. The Ravens losing QB Joe Flacco for the season is huge, it’s the first time they are without him since 2007. On the Browns’ side, Josh McCown is a slight upgrade from the recently benched Johnny Manziel.
Big Game: Denver Broncos +3 vs. New England Patriots
This is only the 5th game out of the past 58 where the Broncos are the underdog. Brock Osweiler played well last week after replacing Peyton Manning. The Patriots are further decimated with injuries, which could mean they run the ball more.
