He’s baaaaack! Pregame.com’s RJ Bell hit 100% on his NFL picks last week. Obviously, the weeks of losing are completely behind us, right? Nothing but money winners from here on out! USA! USA! USA!
…Maybe. Here’s hoping that the streak continues into Week 9.
Underdog Special: Washington Redskins +14 vs. New England Patriots
Look, its a slim chance the Redskins will beat the Patriots, but with some key players returning from injuries, it’s not too crazy to think they may beat the spread. The Patriots also rarely cover (5-12 Against the Spread) when they are favored by double digits at home.
Best Bet: Tampa Bay Buccaneers +2.5 vs. New York Giants
The Giants have a decent record, but it is deceiving. They have been out-gained by their opponents by 600 yards! The turnover margin (+10) is how they are winning. But RJ thinks that more a luck thing.
Big Game: Dallas Cowboys +3 vs. Philadelphia Eagles
Cowboys Quarterback Matt Cassel hasn’t been great, but is still an improvement over Brandon Weeden. Also, the more familiar a team is with Chip Kelly’s offense, they better they do against it. In this tough divisional rivalry, the underdog is (26-8) against the spread.
