Pregame.com’s RJ Bell Gives Us His NFL Week 8 Picks

Author: Chip

It’s been a bumpy betting road lately for Pregame.com’s RJ Bell, but he went (2-1) in his picks last week. He feels a lot better after righting his ship, and ready to make you, the listener, some money. Hopefully. How will he fare this weekend?

Underdog Special: Tampa Bay Buccaneers +7.5 vs. Atlanta Falcons

RJ says the Falcons are overrated, with Vegas ranking them as only 1 point better than the average team. On the other hand, the Buccaneers have been overlooked, with the 9th best yardage differential in the league.

Best Bet: Dallas Cowboys +6 vs. Seattle Seahawks

The Cowboys are again without QB Tony Romo, but recent addition Matt Cassel is a marked improvement over prior backup Brandon Weeden. Seattle still has trouble protecting their QB, as a result Russell Wilson is currently the most sacked QB in the league. Seattle also isn’t great on the road.

Big Game: Denver Broncos +3 vs. Green Bay Packers

This game is a battle of two undefeated teams, with the best two defenses in the league. The Packers are not great on the road, but the Broncos’ offense has only scored one touchdown in the last 2 games. Peyton Manning is currently ranked as the #31 quarterback in the league.
