New Music from The Neighbourhood, Weezer, and Adele Added to the KROQ Playlist

LA Natives The Neighbourhood first gained attention in 2013 with the breakout hit, “Sweater Weather,” from their debut album, I Love You. “Cry Baby” is off their upcoming sophomore album, Wiped Out!, due out this week.

In 1994, Weezer released their eponymous debut album, also known as The Blue Album, which contained “Undone – The Sweater Song.” That, along with the followup singles “Buddy Holly” and “Say It Ain’t So,” cemented Weezer as one of the premier acts in rock. “Thank God For Girls” is the first new music from Weezer since last year’s Everything Will Be Alright In The End.

Adele may only have two albums to her name, 19 and 21 (with her new album, 25, due out in November), but she has already established herself as one of the premiere artists of our generation. 21 has sold millions of copies and earned Adele six Grammy Awards. Last week she released “Hello” as the lead single off the upcoming 25. It promptly garnered 27 million views, setting a new Vevo record for most views in 24 hours.
