Betting has its ups and downs. Pregame.com’s RJ Bell has certainly learned that this season. In the first 2 weeks of NFL action, RJ went perfect in his picks. Unstoppable! However, Week 5, as a great philosopher once said, was “a colossal disaster”.
RJ struck out last week with his picks, going (0-3), can he right the ship this week?
Underdog Special: Kansas City Chiefs +4 vs. Minnesota Vikings
The Chiefs are (1-4), but RJ doesn’t think they are as bad as their record shows. They’ve lost tough games against tough opponents, and the AFC is still wide open, so they can still be motivated enough to win.
Best Best: Buffalo Bills +3.5 vs. Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals looked great last week, and the public tends to overreact to what they’ve just seen. However, teams that beat the Seahawks are only (6-18) against the spread when being favored the following week. The Bengals are also not very good on the road.
Big Game (Sunday Night Football): Indianapolis Colts +10 vs. New England Patriots
The match up everyone has been waiting for this season, and the Patriots have been dominant every week. They’ve also had the Colts’ number in games past, with Andrew Luck throwing 10 interceptions. Even with Luck not being 100%, RJ thinks the line is a bit too extreme.
