Last night Mumford & Sons played a private performance for KROQ fans at the intimate Troubadour in West Hollywood.

Fans were treated to a 14-song set, including a surprise appearance by Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello for a cover of “Ghost Of Tom Joad” and even stuck around to lend a hand on Mumfords’ tracks “Awake My Soul” and “Dust Bowl Dance.” Marcus Mumford talked about how Rage Against The Machine was a huge influence on him growing up, and that this was “the best Mumford & Sons gig ever.”

After a brief pause, the band came back out to perform “The Wolf,” then had Morello return to the stage alongside Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus and T Bone Burnett for an all-star finale of “What’s my Age Again?”
