Johnny Marr has canceled the remainder of his U.S. solo tour due to family illness.

The rocker posted to his Facebook page today (Dec. 8) confirming the news, noting that each of the remaining dates on his tour had been canceled with reschedules possible but not confirmed.

That includes his next scheduled show tonight in Seattle, stretching all the way to a date at the El Ray in Los Angeles on Dec. 20. All of the dates were to be held on the West Coast in Washington, Oregon and California.

“I’m really disappointed to not be able to play the shows,” Marr noted in the Facebook post. “The touring has been so enjoyable for me and the band and the audiences have been great everywhere. If it was about just me being unwell I would’ve found a way to continue as I did when I broke my hand earlier in the year, but to not be there for one of my family is not right. Thank you to everyone for the kind messages. See you soon. Johnny. x”
