Blink-182‘s powerhouse drummer, Travis Barker, has always been able to keep in step, even with tons of new projects on his plate. That’s why it’s not surprising that the famed musician has revealed that he’s planning to start a star-studded supergroup.
Although the group is currently without a name (suggestions, anyone?), it will include Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland and Danny Lohner who was a former instrumentalist for Nine Inch Nails. There’s no work on what the exact sound of the group will be, but it will also include hip-hop dude Scroobiuis Pip.
Limp Bizkit and hip-hop? Will rap-rock come back in style?
On a post via his Instagram account, Barker wrote that he’s “In the lab creating with these talented gentlemen #goodtimes #goodpeople #goodmusic.”
Barker’s main squeeze, Blink-182, just played some anniversary shows centered around their self-titled 2003 album and have just announced that they are playing the Reading and Leeds Music Festivals in England next summer.
