Kevin and Bean may still be considered “newcomers” to Comic-Con, but Patton Oswalt has been making the trip to San Diego for years.
“I may have been born here,” he joked, “It’s Burning Man for shut-ins.”
Years ago, the convention was very low-key, but now Hollywood treats it as a make-or-break launching point for their biggest movies. Patton explained, “[Hollywood] is now coming after the 13-year old in the bad Doc Ock costume. “Get his Input!””
Patton Oswalt was down in San Diego to promote Adult Swim’s “The Heart, She Holler.” Check out the insane synopsis of the show:
“Watch Boss Hoss Heartshe wrap his grand grip from the grave around the throats of the Heartshe siblings’ unsquashable lust for power! Manchild Hurlan is too dumb to fail, hussy Hurshe is too sleazy to slut her way to the top, and crazed Hambrosia may be too batspit bonkers to become a maniacal leader.
