“For those who grew up with the original Roq of the 80’s, this will be like your whole life flashing before your ears – except in the end, nobody gets killed!” – Freddy Snakeskin
Sure, I can click here and listen on my computer, but how do I listen to Roq of the 80s in my car? Many late model vehicles are equipped with HD radios. And most new aftermarket stereos also offer HD capability. No, this is not satellite radio. HD radio is the regular old radio you’ve been listening to since birth. It just broadcast digitally and picked up automatically your new car stereo. If you see a little HD logo on your stereo it means you’re picking up KROQ’s digital signal. To get HD-2 (Roq of the 80’s) merely click the up or down arrow (or left/right depending on your stereo) while listening to KROQ. It will toggle to KROQ HD-2 and you’ll get all the 80’s alt-rock hits your ears can possible stand… and all for free!
