Horror Movies (You May Have Not Seen) For Halloween

It’s almost that time… Are you ready for Halloween?

Well, if you’re looking to get in the spirit of the Halloween season, there’s no better way than to set time aside and watch some great horror movies. If you’re looking for something different other than the classic slasher flicks, a la ‘Friday the 13th’ or ‘Nightmare on Elm Street’ series, check out this list of great original horror movies you probably have not yet seen.

‘Let the Right One In’

(After you watch this, you may be interested in watching the American remake titled ‘Let Me In’, starring the loveable sweetheart Hit Girl herself, Chloe Grace Moretz).

 ‘The Orphanage’

Plot synopsis: A woman brings her family back to her childhood home, where she opens an orphanage for handicapped children. Before long, her son starts to communicate with an invisible new friend. Directed by Juan Antonio Bayona, this film is beautifully shot in Spain with a brilliant cast of Spanish actors.

This film, brilliantly directed by Michael Dougherty, is the ‘Pulp Fiction’ of horror movies.
