[Listen] Gorillaz, Andre 3000 And James Murphy Collaborate For Converse’s 3 Artist 1 Song “Do Ya Thing”
Converse has put out another song as part of their 3 artist 1 song campaign. This time Gorillaz, Andre 3000 from Outkast and James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem came together to create the track “DoYaThing.” It was also featured today on KROQ’s 4:20 with Stryker.
The track is now available for download. In addition to the song being released, Converse has a limited edition Chuck Taylor Gorillaz Collection available now.
Originally Gorillaz leader Damon Albarn was approached by converse to develop an exclusive shoe line that featured Gorillaz-influenced artwork. Once the shoe deal was in the works, Albarn reached out to James Murphy and Andre 3000 to work on the track.
