Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds Release Video For “Dream On”
The battle of the sexes dons a whole new look in Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds latest video, “Dream On.” It’s shot in black and white and has the air of old Hollywood glamor, but that’s not the first thing you’ll notice. Nope, that honor goes to the man knocked out cold with his face looking like ground beef.
The entire video is set inside a boxing ring. The contestants: a gruff looking man versus a 40′s era looking female. Both are clad in boxing attire, gloves in all, with Gallagher himself as the ref.
To say this isn’t an even match is an understatement. She straight up whoops him. To make matters worse, she knees him below the belt and hits him while he’s down. It’s not even close.
It’s a silly and fun to watch, the entire video tied directly to the song and laced with symbolism. Check it out after the jump, and let us know what you think.
