Meet JR Burningham, Last Year’s Dorito Super Bowl Commerical Winner
JR's winning commerical "Pug Attack"
Super Bowl 46 is coming up this Sunday, which means a whole new slew of commercials vying for your attention. These high-profile and often hilarious ads that air during the “Big Game” have become a spectacle all of their own, with some people tuning in now for them rather than the actual game.
JR Burningham, a USC graduate, made a commercial for a Doritos contest last year, and not only did he win a million dollars for his spot called “Pug Attack”, it was also one of the most talked about commercials of the Super Bowl.
Since then, he has created his own production company, Mythmakers Entertainment, and continues to put out short films, commercials, and viral videos. Kevin & Bean talked to him this morning to discuss how this opportunity has affected his life.
