[Watch] Arcade Fire – “Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains)”

“Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains)” is another wonderfully original video from our favorite Canadians, Arcade Fire. Sadly, the Grammy-winners have played their last show in support of The Suburbs. But they’ve sent us off with a wonderful gift.
There are two versions available for the epic closing track of their third album — as a good-old-fashioned traditional viewing experience, or in an interactive, web cam-based dance-off, where you control the choreography and movements in the video.
Your movements are detected, and you control the motion. Win Butler has your invitation to dance right here.
The video is directed by Vincent Morisset, who also directed another odd, web-friendly bit for the band for 2007′s Neon Bible. Check out the spectacular interactive version here, and the non-interactive video below. Much like their “We Used to Wait” video, it requires some serious internet speed.
Lots of dancing! And paper-mache heads!
