Coldplay’s ‘Paradise’ Gets The Remix Treatment
Coldplay performing at the Red Bull Sound Space at KROQ Studios in Los Angeles, CA on October 18th, 2011 for Kevin & Bean's Breakfast With Coldplay.
Despite the seasons changing and the weather getting chilly, the world’s hottest DJs are producing top-notch remixes of current rock favorites. Coldplay‘s excellent new single “Paradise” (#2 on the KROQ playlist this week) — with it’s Rihanna-esque vocal stretch of the word “para-ara-ara-dise” — was screaming for a club-banger.
Coincidentally, “Paradise” is the soup du jour for DJ-demigod Tiesto. But among the hundreds (got to love Youtube and Soundcloud) which remix reigns supreme? Let’s take a look…

Tiesto Remix
Pretty standard, run-of-the-mill club remix from the Dutch DJ. It will likely get the “remix of the remix” treatment on his Club Life podcast/mixes.
Fedde Le Grand Remix
The official remix commissioned by Coldplay for the “Paradise” single on iTunes. Things build and build until they get really interesting/epic around the five minute mark here.
The next two remixes were found scouring Soundcloud. Yet more club-ready takes.
I tried to find a legit dubstep remix for the Skrillex-heads out there, but they sounded like every single dubstep/brostep song ever made in the last year — with a few Chris Martin croons thrown in to let you know it’s actually a “Paradise” remix.
Joep van der Linden Remix
Merk & Kremont Remix
Which is your favorite?

I don`t know. I don`t like to hear any of the remixes one more time …
