New Music From M83 Joins The KROQ Most-Played List At #18, Bush Retains Top Spot

M83‘s catchy new tune “Midnight City” joins the KROQ most-played list this week, entering at #18. Bush‘s “The Sound of Winter” remains at #1 this week, followed by Coldplay‘s “Paradise” and The Naked And Famous‘ “Young Blood.” Incubus‘ “Adolescents” and The Black Keys‘ “Lonely Boy” round up the top 5.
Foster The People‘s “Pumped Up Kicks” dropped to #10, while Florence + The Machine‘s “Shake It Out,” Young The Giant‘s “Cough Syrup” and Blink-182‘s “After Midnight” all gained a few spots and made their way into the top 10.

M83 is probably the best addition to the playlist this year, although I would argue that Reunion may be the better song off of that album. His older classic, Teen Angst is still one of my favorite electro-shoegazer song to move to. As for other new bands to add to the playlist, I still recommend Mastodon… the new album is little more accessible, and their song Stargasm is amazing.
