BTW,that BEATLES live tune (Twist and Shout) happened in my own hometown….Houston,Texas (as the announcer mentioned the radio station “KILT”.) The
concert was at the Sam Houston Coliseum.. Announcer may have either been Larry Kane (who wrote a book about the Beatles); Gordon McLendon (R.I.P., KILT then-owner); or maybe KILT then-DJ Russ (“Weird Beard”) Knight.
That was their one and only appearance in Houston. Unfortunately,as a then-15-year-old
teenager,I was only into “easy-listening” music….so I missed that one.
I never cease to marvel at RODNEY BINGENHEIMER’S astonishing collection of music from around the world!!

Much more Kasabian please. They rock!!!!!
Can’t believe that more people aren’t taking an interest in these guys, they’re the most original and talented band to emerge since……….. I don’t know who! There’s nobody else like them. Great stuff.
