I spent the better part of my teens listening to punk rock and hardcore.  Pits, Roundhouse Kicks and heavy guitar riffs were my life… I spent every cent I had on CD’s, tickets and band t-shirts….which is why it’s not suprising how stoked I am about this week’s guest mix from my boy RADROK AKA Efrem Schulz of Death By Stereo!

I got to catch up with RADROK for a bit and shoot the sh*t.  The dude is a punk rock renaissance man… Aside from being the front man one of OC’s most legendary hardcore bands and doing lead vocals for one of my favorite super groups, Manic Hispanic, Efrem has been making a massive footprint on OC’s electronic music scene for the past few years with his weekly party, Dubstrike.  Hosting some of the biggest names in dubstep, Dubstrike has brought OC crowds acts that you would only get to hear in a festival setting or high end club in the UK.

Working with notable acts and producers such as Flinch, Mark Instinct and Skerrit Bwoy of Major Lazer, RADROK can not only hold his own with the pros, but he can throw down on the turntables with the best of em. (To be honest, Im halfway through this mix he made for us and am completely blown away.)
