They are calling it the ultimate midnight movie and its world premier is this Thursday at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Four directors known for films such as Detroit Rock City, Frozen, Wrong Turn 2 and 2001 Maniacs took their love of the B-movie world and combined efforts to give fans of horror schlock something to scream about.

“It’s the closing night at the last drive-in theater in America and Cecil B. Kaufman (Richard Riehle, Bridesmaids, Hatchet) has planned the ultimate marathon of lost film prints to unleash upon his faithful cinephile patrons. Four films so rare that they have never been exhibited publicly on American soil until this very night! What could possibly go wrong?”

If you’ve got a penchant for horror films and bad taste Chillerama is for you. With titles such as “The Diary of Anne Frankenstein,” “Wadzilla,” “I Was A Teenage Werebear,” and “Zom-B-Movie,” I’m sure you’ll be laughing and cringing at every bloody minute. Films like Young Frankenstein, Humanoids from the Deep and even Frankie and Annette films inspired the directors of Chillerama.

Wadzilla is either the your best or worst date movie. A guy’s junk grows to gargantuan proportions and goes on a rampage–some girls are into that, so I hear. The film stars it’s writer/director Adam Rifkin. Then there’s The Diary of Anne Frankenstein shot to look like a forties war film which involves Hitler and stars horror legend Kane Hodder. Frozen and the Hatchet series director Adam Green came up with this one.

Tim Sullivan  delivered the cult classic 2001 Maniacs and he was the oh so patient director on the Scream Queens series on VH1 to those crazy bitches contributes his film I Was A Teenage Werebear to Chillerama.

What would a B-movie extravaganza be without a little flesh eating? Joe Lynch who brought us Wrong Turn 2 gives Chillerama a heaping helping of people who eat poeple in Zom-B-Movie.

So, grab your friends and your favorite blanky and head to the Hollywood Forever Cemetary this Thursday. See you there!
