It’s a new week, and that means a whole batch of new things to piss Adam Carolla off. Adam called into the show to give us his top three current annoyances in a segment called “This Week In Rage.”
Miss “”This Week In Rage”? Adam can’t understand why society feels a need to kiss up to the nerds and kids of the world with things like Comic Con and the Kids Choice Awards. He also wonders if the FBI is spending their time/resources wisely, and finally, sets his sights on the tinyness of air-sickness bags in relation to our super-sized meals.
Adam’s thoughts:
3. Nerds and Kids- The Teen Choice Awards were last weekend, and Comic Con happened recent;y, and Adam wonders why our society now kisses the asses of kids and nerds. Adam recalls the days when kids were ignored, and nerds were beat up, and says that fifty years ago, this wouldn’t have happened. He is against the A-list celebrities getting “slimed”, but has an interesting idea to make it more interesting for the viewer. Two words: “whale sperm”.
2. The FBI- The FBI think they may now have found D.B. Cooper, a guy who 40 years ago pulled off the only plane hijacking in US history. The guy is long dead, but Adam discusses the fact that they still have people working this long over case. Don’t they have any bigger fish to fry? Move on!
1. Air-sickness bags: Adam does a ton of traveling, and on one recent plane ride was stuck sitting next to a chubby 11-year old. During a bout of turbulance, the kid got sick, and it was then that Adam noticed just how tiny those bags really are. In a world where everything is “Super Sized”, Adam has decided that air-sickness bags should also reflect that tend.
