See Kevin Smith’s RED STATE In Los Angeles

One of our favorite people, Kevin Smith, stopped by the Kevin & Bean show this morning to talk about the Oscar qualifying run of his latest film, Red State. The film co-stars our very own Ralph Garman.
Red State is a film unlike anything that Kevin Smith has ever done! It has a super solid cast, who could potentially earn Oscar nominations! Here’s the catch: In order for films to be considered for the Oscars, they have to have a theatrical run.
This week-long theatrical run will take place August 19-25 at the New Beverly Cinema (which is owned now by Quentin Tarantino). Tickets are $20, and can be purchased at coopersdell.com.
Most screenings will have a Q & A with Smith following the screening, and possibly other cast members as well, so it’s certain to be a unique and entertaining experience.
