Since their formation in 1998 by frontman Jim James, My Morning Jacket has become the southern rock sensation that has identified with rock, soul, and blues fans all over the nation for over a decade. The band’s summer release of their sixth album, Circuital, gives listeners a satisfying experience from start to finish, pulling familiar sounds from their entire prior catalog.
This summer the band kicked off its American tour by making appearances at music festivals across the country: Hangout Festival in Gulf Shores, AL, Wakarusa Festival in Ozark, AR, Mountain Jam in Hunter Mountain, NY, Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, TN, and many more.
My Morning Jacket was also recently featured on an unlikely Muppets tribute album, The Green Album, with fellow artists such as Andrew Bird, Weezer, and Sondre Lerche.
