A few weeks ago Kevin & Bean sat down with Sublime with Rome‘s front man Rome Ramirez  and discussed how wide his tastes in music were. Rome said was that he was into everything from classic rock to beach reggae. This wide array apparently includes Amy Winehouse.

Rome recorded a cover of her song “Rehab” in a tribute to the late Ms. Winehouse, just a day after her passing. Ramirez also posted a message to accompany his amazing version of the track: “I recorded this tribute for Amy Winehouse after I heard the news of her passing. She is a huge inspiration to my music. We miss you Amy.”

He could probably hear better if he put the headphones directly on his ears instead of on top of the hoodie.

I think tribute is amazing. Assholes don’t appreciate someone feeling pain and expressing it. Did anyone even notice he changed up the lyrics. Why so critical? Just cause his song is getting a lot of play. Make your own utube video of anything. You all are so talented you’ll get a lot of play too. Amy was obviously a talented but troubled person. Many folks are so perfect, rich or poor, they can’t relate or at least realizie someone else’s pain.

u make a great point ! was amy dying gonna happpen YES! i think anyone with a brains could see that is it still tragic and sad YES! why because she had talent but drugs just got the best of her and i think thats what makes amy winehouses story so tragic because if she could stay sober she could have been an even better superstar ! unfortunately shes gonna be known for a junkie like the guy from blind melon . not alot of ppl feel sorry for her yet many ppl feel sorry for Michael Jackson who was also a drug addict
