[Comic-Con] Watch KROQ’s Stryker In Trailer For Upcoming Film “Sushi Girl”

Our very own Stryker was in attendance at this year’s Comic-Con to promote and attend a panel for the soon to be released action/thriller “Sushi Girl.” Initial impressions forecast this is going to be one gritty and dark movie.
Odds are you haven’t heard of it, that’s because it’s still in post-production, and the trailer for the film premiered just this past weekend. The film stars Tony Todd (Candyman) and Mark Hamill (THE Luke Skywalker), with Danny Trejo (Machete)
Stryker plays Ramone, a diamond dealer, who finds himself in a sticky situation he might not be able to get out of. You can watch the trailer, along with a quick dash of Stryker halfway through.
This isn’t Stryker’s first rodeo in film, he’s made appearance in cult favorites such as “Grandma’s Boy” and “Out Cold.”
Here’s a quick synopsis of the film’s premise:
Fish has spent six years in jail. Six years alone. Six years keeping his mouth shut about the robbery, about the other men involved. The night he is released, the four men he protected with silence celebrate his freedom with a congratulatory dinner. The meal is a lavish array of sushi, served off the naked body of a beautiful young woman. The sushi girl seems catatonic, trained to ignore everything in the room, even if things become dangerous. Sure enough, the four unwieldy thieves can’t help but open old wounds in an attempt to find their missing loot.
Watch our guy Stryker take a punch like a champ at the 1:10 mark in the trailer.
