release their new album titled Vice Verses. Their eighth studio album is scheduled to drop September 27th.
This is the follow-up to the GRAMMY winning album, Hello Hurricane, which included one of KROQ’s favorites, “The Sound.” The record is already sounding quite amazing and if you don’t know much about these guys, their music always has a message.
“Vice Verses is a record of tension and release. It’s an attempt to describe the polarity of the human experience. The sunlight and shadow. The highs and lows, laughter and pain, hope and fear, doubts and belief,” says lead singer/guitarist Jon Foreman.
The lead track off the album, “Dark Horses,” could certainly be a rock-anthem, with heavy crunching guitars, pounding drums, and Foreman’s soulful roaring. *

I’m in tears… You can’t begin to fathom the emotion this song brings into my heart… It breeds encouragement and gives hope to those who need strength and courage to stand up and be counted along with the rest of us. Switchfoot somehow finds a way to say it best when i’m just on the edge of throwing in the towell to say, “I don’t fit in this world. I cannot find my way home.” I’m in love with this track like ‘nun other!’ Thankx guys! You are my knights! Froggy you’re officially a prince! You all deserve a spot in the Kingdom! Great sound! Well done!
