Hailing from the shores of Newport Beach, Young the Giant has provided the world with the wonderful sounds of a SoCal summer and their latest video. Kat Corbett has been playing this song on her Locals Only Playlist for some time now.
The band has been quite busy and will continue throughout the summer. Conquering Coachella, the mecca of indie-rock, playing our very own KROQ Weenie Roast 2011, and with a slot at Chicago’s Lollapalooza in August, the band is definitely racking up airline miles supporting the new album.
It’s nice to see one of our locals doing such awesome work.
